Chris McKinley, age 26, of Orange, Texas, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017, in Jacksonville, Florida. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, May 27, 2017, at Dorman Funeral Home, with Pastor Mike Oates officiating.  Rite of Committal and Interment will be held at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park following the funeral service.  Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM prior to the funeral service, on Saturday, May 27, 2017, at Dorman Funeral Home.

Chris was born in Orange, Texas on Wednesday, October 10, 1990 to Jeanette Whitehead McKinley and Michael Shon McKinley. Chris worked for DPR/SPW- Dry Wall Group in Jacksonville. He loved spending time with his family going fishing and to the beach.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clyde and Mrytle Whitehead, and four uncles, Obie Pitman, Bo Whitehead, Pete Whitehead and Dale Whitehead.

Survivors include his mother Jeanette McKinley and John Mills of Orange, Texas, and father, Shon McKinley of Lindale, Texas; fiancé, Jennifer Moore of Orange, Texas; paternal grandparents, Joey and Edwin McKinley of Lindale, Texas; sons, Breckin McKinley, Kamden McKinley, Christopher Allen McKinley, Jr., and expecting a fourth child in October; brother Michael Lee McKinley of Lindale, Texas; sister, Kari McKinley of Lindale, Texas; step-sisters, Monica Glasscock and husband, Rian, of Port Neches, Texas, and Haley Mills of Bridge City, Texas; step-brothers, Darrell Hendricks of Austin, Texas, and Cody Mills and wife, Chelsea, of Bridge City, Texas; Nephews, Journey Minter, Carson Kelley, Drake Mills, and Asher Mills; nieces, Swazie McKinley and Carley Kelley; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Honoring Chris as pallbearers are Kevin Krizak, CJ White, Thomas Whitehead, Tommy Carpenter Gordon, Vernon Whitehead, and James Whitehead; Honorary Pallbearer is Michael Mckinley.
