Debbie was born on Wednesday, December 12, 1956, on Groves, Texas to Betty (Bertrand) and Jessie Bendo. Debbie found the love of her life when she met Darrell Polland. They were married in 1979 and spent 39 blissful years together. Within those 39 years, Debbie and Darrell had three beautiful daughter's together, whom just added to their love and happiness. She had been a lifelong resident of Bridge City, Texas and made a living working in the cafeteria system for Orangefield, Texas. While working there, she would often see her grandchildren who were just as elated to see her as she was them. Debbie also always made sure the kids had plenty of lunch money in their accounts.  She loved all the lunch ladies she worked with, as they were like family to her. No matter where she was employed, Debbie always worked in the school system or day cares. One of her very favorite things to do was to play bingo. She loved it so much, it got there where she was going to play 7 days a week. Her best friend, Mellissa, was her reliable bingo partner at all times. They went to play together so often that people often thought they were mother and daughter. When Debbie and her husband Darrell traveled places, he was always on the lookout for her a bingo hall. It's safe to say it was one of  her favorite past times. Debbie also enjoyed gardening, taking trips out in the boat while at the beach, camping and sleeping in the tent, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all the rest of her family, while making many wonderful, irreplaceable memories. It was witnessed many times that Debbie indeed did have a green thumb that could grow anything and had even been known to bring plants back from a point beyond revival. She never missed a ball game or sporting event that her grandchildren or great grandchildren participated in. She was the true defintion of, "number one fan". Debbie was the greatest mom, grandmother and great grandmother and her memory will live on forever through all of her loved ones.

Debbie is preceded in death by her Parents, Betty (Bertrand) and Jessie Bendo and Nephew, Jessie Johnson.
