Dewane Scott Crumpler, 45, of Orange, Texas, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2017. Arrangements were made under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home.
 
 
Scott was born on May 2, 1972, in Port Arthur, Texas, to Delores and Kenneth Crumpler, and was a lifelong resident of southeast Texas.  He was a hardworking man and spent many years working as a Pipe Fitter.  Scott was a loving family man, who enjoyed fishing and grilling for his family, and friends.  He was a generous man who always looked out for others and was always there to lend a helping hand. Scott was a very creative man with a “Go Big or Go Home” attitude.  His creations were always so genius that they quickly earned him the title of “MacGyver’s Phone-A-Friend”.  Scott was a husband, son ,father, brother, uncle, and friend, who will be missed by all those who knew him.
 
Those who will cherish Scott’s memory most are his loving wife of 22 years, Saumer (Wilcox) Crumpler; mother, Delores Crumpler; father, Kenneth Crumpler and wife, Linda; son, Skylar Crumpler; daughter; Shelby Crumpler; foster children that he loved like his own, Destiny Star McKean and Dalton Richard; sisters, Kendra Crumpler and Vanessa Durham; brothers, Sam Lucia and Gregg Durham; nieces, Lyndsey Lucia Norton; nephew, Peyton Lucia; mother and father-in-law, Sharon and Larry Wilcox; and many members of extended family and friends.
 

 A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 20,2017 at First Church of the Nazarene, at 10:00 AM in the gym; 3810 Martin Luther King Dr. Orange Texas 77632.
