George "Buddy" Herbert Franck II, age 61 of Orange, Texas, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017 in Vidor, Texas. Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 12, 2017 at Dorman Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Gene Allen officiating. The gathering of family friends will be from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Monday, June 12, 2017 at Dorman Funeral Home.

Buddy was born in Kirbyville, Texas on June 7, 1956 to Margarett Phelps Franck and George Herbert Franck. He served his country in the United States Marine Core. Buddy was a member of the 798 Pipeliner's Union for over 30 years. He enjoyed working around his home and was a miniature horse rancher. "Budro the Magnificent" as his family affectionately called him loved spending time with his children and family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George Herbert and Margarett Franck. and his son, Nicolas "Nick" Franck.

Those left to cherish his memory are his three children; Willie Franck of Mauriceville, TX, Stacy Broussard and her husband Daniel of Hayes, LA and Sherrie Royer and her husband Michael of Vinton, LA. One brother, Kelly Franck of San Diego, CA and three sisters; Brenda Miester of Enid, OK, Deborah McKintry of Taylor, TX and Kitty Skaggs of Comanche County, TX. Seven precious grandchildren; Hunter Franck, Sarah Franck, Allie Romero, Trey Broussard, Brooke Broussard, Mason Broussard and Vic Franck. Another grandchild that will be arriving in December.
