Gregory "Greg" Russell, age 61, passed away at his home in Orange, Texas on Sunday, June 20, 2016. Services will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 24, 2016 at Dorman Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lance Faulkner officiating. Interment will follow at Parish Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM prior to the service on Friday.

Greg was born in Orange, Texas on March 13, 1955 to the late Charles Denton Russell and Ida Lee Yates Russell. Greg graduated from LCM in 1973 and had been working with Ameripol/Synpol for the past 19 years. He was truly an outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting, fishing and being on the water. He enjoyed working on cars, motorcycles and just about anything else that had a motor to be fixed. Greg loved his family, his two sons and his dogs.

Survivors include wife, Patsy Russell of Orange, TX. Two sons, Seth Russell and his wife Caroline of Harleton, TX and Tyson Russell and his wife Desiree of Bridge City, TX. A step-son, Jeremy Evans and his wife Christina of Mansfield, LA and step-daughter, Emily Litton and her husband Beau of Converse, LA. One brother, Steve Russell and his wife Cynthia of Orange, TX and two sisters; Stacy Russell of Orange, TX and Charlscie Hewitt and her husband Jesse of Orange, TX. Grandchildren; Henley Steel Russell and his little sister that is on the way, Texley Austyn Russell, Max Austin Russell, Oliver Kyle Russell, Bear Levi Russell, Mason Evans, Amelia Evans and Toby Litton.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joel Russell, Beau Litton, Jeremy Evans, Josie Hewitt, Steve Russell and Jeff Lieby. Two honorary pallbearers; Jesse Herwitt and Bill Russell..
