Joanne (Fuller) Roberts, 82, of Orange, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at The Meadows of Orange, in Orange, Texas.  Funeral service will be held at Dorman Funeral Home on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at 10:00 AM; Reverend Damon Bickham of First Baptist Church- Deweyville officiating.  Rite of Committal and Interment will immediately follow the funeral service at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park in Orange, Texas, on Saturday, June 17, 2017.  Visitation for family and friends will be held at Dorman Funeral Home on Friday, June 16, 2017, from 5:00 PM- 8:00 PM.

Joanne was born on November 14, 1934, in Overton, Texas, to Winnie Arlene (Villyard) and Jones Branch Fuller, and moved to Orange with her family in the 1940’s as a part of the war effort.  In October 1954, Joanne married Harlon Ray Roberts.  They were married for 47 years, until his passing in 2001.  Joanne was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, petting and loving her dogs, bird watching, and the peaceful country lifestyle of her small town.   

Preceding Joanne in death is her loving husband, Harlon Ray Roberts; parents, Winnie Arlene and Jones Branch Fuller; and brother, Gene Bob Fuller.

Those who will cherish her memory most are her daughters, Brenda Wagner and her husband, David, of Houston, Texas, and Lana Adams and her husband, Bob, of Orange, Texas; sons, Shawn Roberts and his wife, Rita, of Norfolk, Virginia, and Lance Roberts and his wife, Rachel, of Panama City, Florida; brothers, David Wynn Fuller and his wife, Kitten, and Mike Fuller and his wife, Paula; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and members of extended family.

The family of Joanne Roberts would like to extend their thanks to caregiver, Sharon Walters, and the staff of Harbor Hospice and The Meadows of Orange, for all of the love and care they provided.
