John Hoffpauir, age 77 of Orange, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 in Port Arthur, Texas. Graveside services will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery in Orange, Texas with Deacon Melvin Payne officiating. Services are under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home.

John was born in Orange, Texas on October 8, 1940 to Riley Mildred Satterfield Hoffpauir and Teddie C. Hoffpauir. John lived his whole live in the Orange community and was retired from the Boiler Makers Union 587 as a welder. He loved spending time with his friends and dancing. John was a volunteer with the Southeast Texas Grandparent Program and will be dearly missed by all of the children he meant so much to.

He is preceded in death by his parents Teddie C. and Riley Hoffpauir, his wife, Linda Choate Hoffpauir  and a sister, Judy Garsee.

Survivors include his two children, Page Bellett and her husband Jeff of Crosby, TX and Troy Hoffpauir of Texerkana, Arkansas. Two brothers, Glenn Hoffpauir and his wife D'anne of Orange, TX and Ronnie Hoffpauir of Orange, TX. Three grandchildren;  Ciara Anderson, Riley Anderson and Megan Hoffpauir.
