Joshuah Todd  Gerken, age 32 of Orange, Texas, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2017. Family and friends will gather for a visitation from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Dorman Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 22, 2017.
Josh was born in Fairmont, West Virginia on August 19, 1984, but always called Texas his home. He worked as a boilermaker for many years, making sure his family was well taken care of. Josh had an adventurous spirit and a love for the outdoors, whether it was kayaking, fishing or spending lazy days at the beach with his family, he loved being outside enjoying nature. He loved to travel and take his family to see new things. He loved being a father to his three children so much so he and his wife, Julie opened their home to foster children.
Joshuah is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Rex Kilday.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Julie Gerken of Orange, TX. Parents, Montana Ramirez of Buna, TX and Hugh Kilday of Greenville, TN. Two sons, Cameron Gerken and Samuel Gerken and daughter Kayliegh Fleming all of Orange, TX. Two brothers, Dylan Kilday of Nederland, TX and McKade Romans of Buna, TX. A sister, Dakotah Kilday of Buna, TX. Maternal Grandparents, Robert and Phyllis Pawich of West Virginia. Paternal grandmother, Joan McDonald of Greeneville, Tn. As well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends that loved him very much. In lieu of flowers the family ask that loved ones make a donation to the children's savings accounts.
