Katherine Jane Carrington, 43, of Orange, Texas, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017, at Harbor Hospice, in Beaumont, Texas.  A graveside service, under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home, will be held at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park, in Orange, Texas, on Thursday, June 15, 2017, at 2:00 PM .

Katherine was born on May 20, 1974, in Beaumont, Texas, to Katherine Jane (Stanley) and Chester Lafley, and remained a lifelong resident of southeast Texas.  She was a woman of the Christian faith and attended Turning Point Church.  Katherine went to Vidor High School and later received her GED.  She was a woman who loved her family and especially enjoyed the time she was able to spend with her grandchildren, who all knew her as their "Lolli".  Katherine also enjoyed spending time outdoors and especially camping trips.

Those who will cherish Katherine's memory most are her loving husband of 12 years, Mark Carrington, of Vidor, Texas; parents, Katherine Stanely and Chester Lafley; daughters, Kayla Carrington, of Vidor, Texas, Amanda Hyde, of Beaumont, Texas, and Michela Y'Barbo, of Vidor, Texas; sons, Daniel Y'Barbo and his wife, Brianna, of Groves, Texas, Mark Carrington, Jr. and his wife, Amber, of Vidor, Texas, Sebastian Y'Barbo, of Vidor, Texas, and Tristan Y'Barbo, of VIdor, Texas; brothers, David Lafley and his wife, Tanya, of Vidor, Texas, and Micheal Laafley, of Orange, Texas; sisters, Martha Daughtry and her husband, Kip, of Vidor, Texas, and Janie McCade, of Vidor, Texas; grandchildren, Sebastian, Jr., Jude Gavin, Volet, Kaisyn, Azalea, Zariah, Casyn, Preston, McKinnley, and Emma Jo; and many nieces, nephews, members of extended family and friends.
