Larry LaRay Shaw, 51, passed from this life on November 2, 2017, at his home in Mauriceville, Texas. Arrangements were made under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home. A celebration of Larry's life will be held at 11 AM on Friday, November 10, 2017 at Calvary Apostolic Church in Starks, Louisiana. Officiating is Pastor Jeremy Shields of Starks, LA.

Larry was born in Kountze, Texas on January 11, 1966 to William "Bill" Shaw and Wynn Ellen Greene. There are many words that can be used to describe Larry; remarkable is the one that would stick the most. Larry never met a stranger and if you knew him, he's someone you would truly never forget. He enjoyed a good cup of Seaport coffee and always had a Case knife on hand for trading. He was full of humor and wit. Larry ran away with his high school sweetheart and they were married for nearly 20 years and had 3 beautiful daughters.

Larry is preceded in death by his mother, Wynn Ellen Greene of Mauriceville, Texas; brother, Sam Foster of Starks, Louisiana and his step father, James Foster of Starks, Louisiana.

Larry is survived by his daughters, Jessica Crawford and husband Tyler of Orange, Texas, Brandi Brister and husband Hunter of Orange, Texas, Libby Thrailkille and husband Cruzz of Deweyville, Texas; Father, William Shaw and wife Lynn of West Virginia; Brothers, Jayson Shaw and wife Dina, of Mauriceville, Texas, Eddie Shaw of Orange, Texas, Tim and Bill Shaw of Braxton County, West Virginia; Sisters, Renee Wolfe of Orange, Texas, Kimberley Shaw Sears of Ravenswood, West Virginia; Grandchildren, Nora, Griffin, Fisher, Marren, Case, Hayes and Lynlee as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many members of extended family.
