Lee Roy McGraw, 54, of Orange, Texas, passed away on September 3, 2017, following a valiant rescue attempt for those in need, due to the devistation caused by Hurricane Harvey. 

On Monday, July 29, 1963, Lee was born to mother, Manuella Penilla McGraw Gomez, and father, Joe McGraw, Coleman, Texas.  For over 20 years, Lee has been a resident of Orange, Texas, after coming from his hometown of Coleman, Texas.  He was a Christian man who loved the Lord and attended church, with his loving wife, Denna Stanley-McGraw, at the First Pentecostal Church in Starks, Louisiana.  It was obvious to all who knew Lee that he had a heart of gold; willing to give the shirt off his back to anyone who may need it.  Lee was a hard working man who was the proud owner, and operator, of his own lawn care service, A-1 Budget Handyman Lawn Care.  In his spare time, Lee enjoyed taking long rides on his motorcycle and when he was able to fish.  Lee was a devoted husband, who se wife, Denna, was his world, son, father, grandfather, and friend, who will be missed by all who knew him.

Those who will cherish his memory most are his wife, Denna Stanley-McGraw, of Orange, Texas; mother, Manuella Penilla McGraw Gomez, of San Angelo, Texas; father, Joe McGraw; daughter, Betty Jo McGraw, of Brownwood, Texas; son, Tommy Lee McGraw and his wife, Crystal, of Beaumont, Texas; sisters, Lucy McGraw and Betty McGraw , of San Angelo, Texas; grandchildren, Bryan, Samuel, and Braxton; and numerous members of extended family, and friends.

Arrangements were made under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home.  A celebration of life service will be held at First Pentecostal Church in Starks, Louisiana, on September 23, 2017, at 1:00 PM.
