Linda (Bellett) Russell, age 76, of Orange, Texas, passed away at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas, in Beaumont, Texas, on Sunday, May 7, 2017. Funeral  Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Dorman Funeral Home; Brother Ronnie Hennigan officiating.  Visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, prior to the service at Dorman Funeral Home. 

On Wednesday, November 6, 1940, Linda was born in Alexandria, Louisiana, to Marie (Sexton) and JC Bellett.  Linda was a lifelong resident of Orange, Texas.  She was a Christian woman of the Assembly of God and attended Lutcher Stark High School.  Linda was a kind and loving woman who enjoyed her life, and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Preceding Linda in death are her parents; first husband and father of her children, Charles Greene, Sr.; husband of 7 years, Malcolm Russell, Jr.; brother, James Bellett, Jr.; and sister, Joyce Tinsley.

Those who will cherish her memory most are her sons, Charles Greene, Jr. and wife, Bridgett, and James Greene and wife, Jennifer; brother, Rodney Bellett; sister, Anna Marple; grandchildren, Ragan Greene, Lindley Greene, Carley Greene, Hunter Greene, Halee Greene, and Josie Carpenter; great-grandchildren, Kyler Greene, Ralea Greene, Shalea Greene, Aubrey Carpenter, and Zoey Carpenter; and many members of extended family and friends.
