Roger Trahan

Roger Dale Trahan, age 66 of Orange, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at his home. Services to honor Roger's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Dorman Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly, Louisiana. Family and friends will gather for a visitation from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Dorman Funeral Home.

Roger was born in Kaplan, Louisiana on December 19, 1951 to Ozite Marie Hebert Trahan and Wilson Trahan. He was one of five boys. Roger graduated from West Orange High School in 1971 and excelled as a football player. Roger worked as a welder in the shipyards and local construction. He enjoyed drag racing, vintage cars and hotrods. Roger also loved being in the outdoors and hunting.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilson and Ozite Marie Trahan and brother Billy Trahan.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter Brandi Conn and her husband Ryan of Hamshire, TX. Three brothers; Ricky Trahan and his wife Ludy of West Orange, TX, Earl Trahan and his wife Patricia of Orange, TX and Robert Trahan of Toledo Bend, TX. Two granddaughters, Kyndal Conn and Kamryn Conn. As well as his ex-wife and longtime friend Betty Trahan of Vinton, LA.
