Sharon Joyce Ladner, age 68 of Vidor, Texas, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, June 9, 2017 in Orange, Texas. A private family gathering will be held to celebrate Sharon's (Crazy Maw Maw), life at a later date.

Sharon was born in Vidor, Texas on March 25, 1949 to Lois Miller Scott and Bruce Alvin Scott. Sharon was a longtime resident of Gulfport, Mississippi and retired from Avondale Industries after working 30 years as the shipping and receiving superintendent. She was a member of Northwood Church in Gulfport, Mississippi. Sharon enjoyed gardening and playing with her beloved "Coco".

She is preceded in death by her husband of 18 years Wilbon Ladner, her parents, Bruce and Lois Scott and her brother Larry Scott.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two children, Bruce White and his wife Rebecca of Orange, TX and Lisa Wells and her husband Michael of Orange, TX. The father of her children, Sherman White of Vidor, TX. Eight grandchildren; Cortney Campbell and his wife Stephanie, Brandy White, Erika Maranda and her husband Adrian, Paige White, Bruce White, Roger McCarty, Trey McCarty and his wife Ashlyn and Scott McCarty. Thirteen great grandchildren; Alyssa Campbell, Easton LaFleur, Corbin LaFleur, Wimberleigh, LaFleur, Gunter WIlson, Abram Wilson, Abram Maranda, McKenzie Stucker, Aria McCarty, Braxton McCarty, Gannon McCarty, Jax McCarty, Jazz McCarty and baby Aubrey will be arriving in July.
