Stacy Lynne Michel, age 51 of Orange, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 in Houston, Texas with her loving family by her side. A memorial service will be held at 10:30AM on Saturday, September 30th, 2017, at Dorman Funeral Home, with deacon Hector Maldonado officiating.

Stacy was born on Sunday, February 26, 1966 in Groves, Texas to Jeanette Hebert Michel and Darrel Michel. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and partner. She loved spending time with her family and did so every chance she got. Stacy had a huge passion for Nursing and the healthcare industry. She spent 22 years working as a CNA in the ER at St. Mary's Hospital in Orange, Texas. Stacy could never pass up an opportunity to help someone in need, no matter what the situation. She also enjoyed spending quality time with her beloved life partner, Dana Bourg. Stacy and Dana had been happily together since February of 2015. Her hobbies included arts and crafts, painting and spending time at the beach. She always said the beach was like her second home and if she could have, she would have lived there all the time. Stacy was also a big Dallas Cowboys fan and truly enjoyed the thrill of the game. She had an unconditional love for her two dogs, Angelica and Buddy, who showed her just as much loyalty and love as she showed them. Stacy was a lifelong resident of Orange, Texas and attended church at St. Francis Catholic Church.

Stacy was preceded in death by her father, Darrel Michel.

Survivors include her life partner, Dana Bourg of Orange, Texas; four step daughters, Brandi Broussard, Kristn Bergeron, Angel Olivier and Melanie Bourg; mother, Jeanette of Orange, Texas; twin brother, Tracy Michel of Orange, Texas; sister, JoEllen Garrie of Orange, Texas; nephews, BJ Garrie, DJ Garrie; niece, Jackie Michel and six step-grandchildren; and numerous members of extended family and friends.
