Troy Len Battise, age 49 of Orange, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017. Services will be held at a2:00 PM on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Indian Bible Church in Elton, Louisiana with Pastor John Cernek officiating. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery in Elton, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM before the services at Indian Bible Church.

Troy was born on January 31, 1968 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Troy had been a long time resident of Orange and graduated from Little Cypress Mauriceville High School. He played on the LCM High School tennis team and enjoyed tennis as an adult.

Troy is preceded in death by his grandparents, Solomon and Adeline Battise and Dempsey and Jane Poncho. Two brothers, Thomas Wayne and Brian Battise, grandson Braylon Garza.

Troy is survived by his children, Heather Battise Garza and her husband Josh of Orange, TX and Daniel Battise and his wife Chantele of Elton, LA. Mother Brenda Hill of Orange, TX and father Scott Hill and his wife Jobie of Orange, TX. Sisters, Denise Sylestine and her husband Reggie of Orange, TX and Tori Corales and her husband Jason of Covington, LA. Sister-in-law Tina Battise of Livingston, TX. Eight grandchildren; Audrina Garza, Dominic Garza, Adeline Garza, Makinley Battise, Kaylee  Battise, Hadleigh Battise, Olivia Battise and Daniel Battise, Jr. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Battise, Dustin Battise, Kirk Battise, Brendan Sylestine, Reggie Sylestine and Josh Garza.
