Wayne T. Harvey, age 91 of Orange, Texas, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, September 25, 2017. Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Old Dorman Cemetery.

Wayne was born in Muskegon, Michigan on May 7, 1926 to Luella Emily Bush Harvey and Thomas George Harvey. He proudly served in the United States Army Air Force during WWII. Wayne worked for many of the shipyards around the Golden Triangle area and was a retired diesel mechanic. He enjoyed cheering for his beloved Green Bay Packers. Wayne had love for flying and pursued getting his pilot's license. He loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren was his most favorite thing in the whole world.

Wayne is preceded in death by his parents and four brothers; Kenny Harvey, Dick Harvey, Clinton Harvey and Steve Harvey.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 42 years, Katheriene Harvey of Orange, TX, daughter Carey Peet and her husband Oscar of Orange, TX, two brothers, Jerry Harvey and his wife Judy of Livingston, TX  and Roger Harvey and his wife Rissie of Kansas City, MO and three sisters; Betty Shubert of Muskegon, MI, Marilyn Smith of Euless, TX and Carol Graham of Euless, TX. His two favorite grandchildren, Coleen LaFleur and her husband Roderick of Orange, TX and John Peet of Orange, TX. His three favorite great grandchildren; Sheldon LaFleur, Payton LaFleur and Dallas Grimes. His wonderful nephew that helped take care of him and his wife, Larry Harvey of San Marcus, TX. As well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
