Teresa Tompkins

Teresa Tompkins, age 58, of Deweyville, Texas, passed away Monday, March 11, 2024, in Beaumont, Texas.  Funeral services honoring Teresa will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 16, 2024, at First Baptist Church Deweyville, Deweyville, Texas, with Bro. Damon Bickham officiating.  Interment will be at 12:00 PM at Deweyville Cemetery in Deweyville, Texas.  Visitation of family and friends will be held Friday, March 15, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at First Baptist Church Deweyville, Deweyville, Texas.

Teresa was a beloved daughter, sister, and aunt. Those that knew Teresa knew that she loved her family with all her heart. Teresa had a special love for children. Although Teresa didn’t have any children of her own, she had several children that she took care of throughout her life that she considered her own. Teresa loved to spoil her “honorary” children and gave them everything they wanted. In recent years Teresa worked as a cashier in Deweyville, Texas where she gained many friends. She loved to go to work and visit with everyone who came into the store. Teresa will be greatly missed by everyone who had the opportunity to get to know her.

Teresa is preceded in death by her father Clarence Tompkins; Nieces Misti and Kristi Lambright and Great Nieces Kember and Kamber Weber.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother Martha Tompkins; Sisters, Debbie Lambright and husband Kenneth, Tammy Broadway and husband Tracy, Tonja Brewer and husband Greg, brother, Clarence Tompkins Jr.; nieces, Stacy Tompkins, Amber Weber, Haley Brewer, nephews; Christopher Sharp and Dillion Lambright; great nieces, Kellsey Rodrick, Riley and Marly Gonzales, Jaylee, Harmoney, Tinslee, Mary and Charlotte Weber Scarlett Lambright; great nephews, Brody Dodson, Welsee, Gavin and Corbin Weber, Waylon Sharp, Bentley Lambright.
