Ashely Nicole Southern

Ashely Nicole Southern, age 28, of Deweyville, Texas, passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018. Graveside services, under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home, to honor Ashely’s life will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at 10:00 AM, with Brother Lloyd Carrol officiating, at the VFW Cemetery in Starks, Louisiana.

Ashely was born on Monday, November 13, 1989, in Lake Charles, Louisiana to parents, Natalie Smith (Boyd) and David Southern. She had been a long time resident of Deweyville, Texas after moving from West Lake, Louisiana. Ashely was a very loving, good hearted, who loved her family dearly. She loved to just live life and loved her three precious children more than life itself. Ashely loved to cook, spend time on the river just relaxing and listening to music. She also loved to draw and was very talented at drawing when she applied herself. Ashely was a Christian of the Baptist faith and a member of Bushy Creek First Baptist Church in Bancroft, Louisiana. Ashely was a daughter, mother, sister and friend, who will forever be loved and missed by all who knew her.

Ashely is preceded in death by her step-father, Bobby Smith.

Ashely is survived by her parents, Natalie Smith and David Southern and wife Donna; Love of her life, Samuel Lemen; daughters, Destiny Lemen, Serenity Lemen and Samantha Lemen; sisters, Helena Campbell and Sarah Goodwin.
