Brenda Elaine Anderson

Brenda Elaine Anderson, age 70 of Orange, Texas, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019 in Groves, Texas. Services to honor Brenda's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 17, 2019 at Dorman Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lance Faulkner officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 PM at Union Springs Cemetery in Converse, Louisiana. Family and friends will gather for a visitation from 5:00 PM  to 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Dorman Funeral Home.

Brenda was born in Converse, Louisiana on February 5, 1949 to Helen Rogers Mahfouz and Nima Mahfouz. Brenda was retired from the Bridge City Wal-Mart, where she spent many years helping customers in the hunting and fishing department. She loved to cook and spend time with her family. Brenda always enjoyed the outdoors and her favorite trips to the beach.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Nima and Helen Mahfouz.

Survivors include her children, Jeff Overman and his wife Cindy of Orangefield, TX and Lana Hug and her husband Stephan of Orangefield, TX, sister Carol Meyers of Orange, TX, three granddaughters; Breanna Holland, Abby Overman and Ally Overman, one grandson Cainan Lastrapes and one great granddaughter Hazel Holland.
