Claude Daniel Killian, Jr., 54, of Orange, Texas, passed away at his home on Friday, June 16, 2017.  Graveside service, under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home, will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at Ida Wilson Cemetery, in Orange, Texas.  Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, June 19, 2017. from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM, at Dorman Funeral Home.

Danny was born on Wednesday, December 26, 1962, in Orange, Texas, to Mary Lou (Stewart) and Claude Daniel Killian, Sr.  He was a lifelong resident of Orange, Texas, where he and his loving wife of 20 years, Edie (Sargent), raised their beautiful family.  Danny was a hard working man, who worked in project management for STI, for over 10 years.  He loved his job and the wonderful people he was able to work with, and respected that STI was a Christian based company, who took care of Danny and his coworkers.  Danny was a man who dearly loved his family and enjoyed the time they were able to spend in the boat, and having fun on the sandbar.  The true light of Danny’s life was his pride and joy, his granddaughter, who always knew her “Ganpaw” loved her with all of his heart.  Danny was a man with a big heart and an even bigger smile, who was loved, and will be missed by all who knew him.

Those who will cherish Danny’s memory most are his wife, Edie Killian, of Orange, Texas; parents, Mary Lou and Claude Killian, Sr.; sons, Weston Desormeaux and his wife, Amy, of Vidor, Texas, Claude Daniel “Daniel” Killian, III, of Mauriceville, Texas, Cole Killian, of Mauriceville, Texas, and Colton Atkins, of Mauriceville, Texas; sister, Annette Deloach and her husband, Rusty, of Orange, Texas; granddaughter, Averie; fur baby, Lil Bit; and numerous members of extended family, and friends.

Honoring Danny was Pallbearers are Weston Desormeaux, Daniel Killian, III, Cole Killian, Colton Atkins, Shon Craig, Doug Craig, Corey Green, and Paul Spence; Honorary Pallbearers are Averie and Lil Bit.
