Craig "Rick" Richard McAbee

Craig "Rick" Richard McAbee, age 61 of Orange, Texas, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2019 in Beaumont, Texas. A memorial service to honor Rick's life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Dorman Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Steve Neal officiating. Family and friends will gather for a visitation from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday at Dorman Funeral Home.

 Rick was born in Topeka, Kansas on January 9, 1958. He had been a longtime resident of Orange, Texas. Rick worked for many years as a fork lift mechanic before opening Rick's RV Repair, which he dearly loved. He enjoyed going on camping trips and fishing with his family and friends. Spending time with the ones he loved and cherished were always his favorite.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Peggy McAbee, Sr., brother Thomas D. McAbee, II, and step mother Eula B. McAbee.

He is survived by his wife Ann McAbee of Orange, TX, daughters, Stephanie Banister and her husband of Overbrook, KS and Crystal Dunning of Orange, TX, sons Micheal Rapp of Orange, TX and Johnnie Dunning and his wife Amber of Colorado, twelve grandchildren, one great grandchild on the way, siblings; James G. McAbee and his wife Deb of Bridge City, TX, Anne Spry and her husband Wayne of Wakarusa, KS, Noel Hamm of Topeka, KS, Telisa McAbee of Baytown, TX, Melissa Barfield and her husband Tim  of Orange, TX, Danny McAbee and his wife Shaina of Baytown, TX and Justin McAbee of La Porte, TX, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends he dearly loved.
