Dorothy Broussard, age 82 of Orange, Texas, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017 in Beaumont, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Dorman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Turner officiating.

Dorothy was born on February 21, 1935 in Beaumont, Texas to Hilda Albarado Letbetter and Johnny Newton Letbetter, Sr. Dorothy was a faithful member of Little Cypress Baptist Church and had a passion for sharing the gospel through music. She loved to play the piano and sing. Dorothy was always eager to help her family and those in need. She retired from Walgreen's in Orange after eighteen years of service.

She is preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law Arthur Snow, two sisters, Bernice Primeaux and Brunete Miller and one brother Johnny Letbetter, Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory are husband of 64 years, Gene Broussard of Orange, TX and her three daughters; Melanie Snow of Ava, MO, Pam Myers and her husband Henry of Orange, TX and Donna Wells and her husband Ron, of Orange, TX. One brother, Dudley Letbetter of Beaumont, TX. Five grandchildren; Reesha Husser, Cassie Patton, Justin Hufford, Tiffany Welch and Jessica Hearn. 13 great grandchildren and was a grandmother to 34 foster children, and many family and friends.
