Eddie Joe Forgey

Eddie Joe Forgey, age 61 of Orange, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 in Beaumont, Texas. Services to celebrate Joe's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, April 16, 2018 at Dorman Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Jett Cemetery in Orange, Texas. Family and friends will gather two hours prior to the service for a visitation at Dorman Funeral Home.

Joe was born in Rusk, Texas on July 28, 1956 to Madgie Nadine Holland Forgey and Sam Ballard Forgey. He worked for many years with Wal-Mart of Bridge City in the maintenance department. Joe loved to go fishing and competing in the OCARC Fishing Tournaments. Through the years, Joe often won the tournament in the Mudcat division. Joe also loved spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Madgie Forgey and two sisters Dorothy Marie White and Kitty Ann Ross Barras.

Those left to cherish Joe's memory are his two brothers, Billy Ray White and Orbin Paul Ross. His two sisters, Charline Forgey Kershaw and Evelyn Pauline Ross Cape. As well as many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Karl Sorrels, Kevin Sorrels, Jimmy Castellanos, Matthew D. Prayne, Chris Abear and Erin Wright.
