Fleta Vance Obituary

Fleta "Jackie" Vance, age 95 of Deweyville, Texas, passed away on Monday, June 25,2018 in Kirbyville, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at King Cemetery in Hartburg, Texas.

Fleta was born on February 6, 1923. She worked for many years for Vanny Lavine Grocery and loved to go fishing.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Thurlow Eugene Vance, Sr., daughter Loretta Jane Vance, son Thurlow Eugene Vance, Jr., five brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include her daughter Pam West and her husband John of Deweyville, TX, four grandchildren; John David West, Jr., Jason Douglas West, Thurlow Eugene West III and Crystal Dorset, as well as five great grandchildren.
