Jackie Ann Egan

Jackie Ann Egan, age 74, of Vidor, Texas, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018. Funeral services, under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home, will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM, at Dorman Funeral Home in Orange, Texas, with visitation from 9:00 AM until service time.

Jackie was born on Saturday, August 21, 1943, in Port Arthur, Texas to parents, Laura Mae (Talent) and Jimmy Fitzpatrick. She had been a lifelong resident of Vidor, Texas before moving from Orangefield, Texas. She was a Christian woman with a heart of gold. Family was everything to Jackie. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life. Jackie thoroughly enjoyed cooking, drinking coffee and listening to zydeco music. When Jackie and her husband were younger, they both spent a lot of time with the American Legion in Orangefield, Texas. They would go to meeting, visit and play bingo there. Jackie will forever be loved and missed by all who knew her.

Jackie is preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Donald Ray Egan and parents, Laura Mae and Jimmy Fitzpatrick.

Jackie is survived by her children, Leonard Egan and wife Dawn of Jewett, Texas, Donna Haure and husband Chuck of Mauriceville, Texas, Rusty Egan and wife Macey of Fort Worth, Texas, Christy Gallien and husband Randall of Vidor, Texas and Dana Rayes of Sulpher, Louisiana; 14 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren.
