Jason "Scooby" Scott McLain, age 47 of Vidor, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 in Vidor, Texas. A private memorial service will be held at a later date by his family.

Jason was born in Waller, Texas on May 1, 1970 to Julienne Jeske McLain and Bobby Joe McLain. Jason was a driver for Ramco Trucking. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Joe McLain and his brother Joseph David McLain.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Julienne McLain of Deweyville, TX and his two children, Jonathon and Marlee. A brother, Mark McLain and his wife Torrey of Hartburg, TX and three sisters; Grace Julienne Hanks and her husband Ricky of Orange, TX, Debbie Sue McLain of Nebraska and Leslie Ann McLain of Deweyville, TX.
