Jean "Jeanie" Theresa Gros

Jean "Jeanie" T. Bush Gros, age 71 of Vidor, Texas, passed away at her home on Monday, January 28, 2019. A memorial service to honor Jeanie's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Dorman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Brack and Van Choate officiating. Family and friends will gather for a visitation on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Dorman Funeral Home.

Jeanie was born in Washington, DC on February 25, 1947. She was raised catholic and attending catholic school in Maryland. Jeanie was a dedicated homemaker, that loved her family very much. She loved her dogs, Mocha, Lil Jeanie, Baby Girl, Lil Bit and T-Boy. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Cornelius and Nellie Holt, brothers Johnny Mack Holt and Billy Galvin and sister Peggy Galvin Smith.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Eddie Gros, children; Donnie Bush and his wife Cassie of Mauriceville, TX, Barrett Bush of Orange, TX and Alison Bush of Kountze, TX, brother Jackie Galvin and sister Patricia Galvin both of Maryland. Grandchildren: Leann Bentley, Tyler Bush, Jeremy Bush, Ariana Bush, Rylen Johnson, Dakota Bellard, Myia Bush and Cyra Johnson. As well as numerous nieces and nephews, that she loved so much.

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations are being received in her memory and may be set to Wellspring Credit Union to the benefit account for Jeanie Gros.
