Lenard Ellie Bonnin, 68, of Orange, Texas, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017, at Pinehurst Nursing & Rehab, in Orange, Texas. 

Lenard was born on Sunday, March 24, 1949, in Orange, Texas, to Geneva (Frillou) and Enock Bonnin. He lived all of his life in the Orange, Texas area and made his living working as a handyman. Lenard loved to work on anything and everything. If he didn't know how to fix it, he would find out how to. When Lenard wasn’t working, he enjoyed playing music. He could play every musical instrument there was. He especially loved to play the guitar, piano and the drums. Lenard loved spending time with his family and making many wonderful memories. Church was a big part Lenard and Nedra’s life. They attended many church services, events and even sang together in front of the congregation. The Bonnin’s believed in Praising Jesus in all that you did and at all times. Leanard was a husband, dad, son, grandfather, nephew and a friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Preceding Lenard in death are his parents, Enock and Geneva Bonnin.

Those who will cherish his memory most are his loving wife, Nedra Bonnin; daughter, Ester Roch of Orange, Texas; son, Frank Brandenburg of Wylie, Tx; sister, Margaret Francis Lee Owens of New Jersey; 4 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Cremation arrangements were made under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home.
