Loretta Fay Hickman

Loretta Fay Hickman, age 57 of Deweyville, Texas, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2019 in Beaumont , Texas. A memorial services to honor Loretta's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Calvary Baptist Church in Deweyville, with Rev. John Fortenberry officiating. Family and friends will gather for a visitation from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service. Services are under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home.

Loretta was born in Orange, Texas on July 4, 1962 to Arline Loretta Morphew Jerdee and James Vernon Jerdee. She enjoyed sewing and doing craft projects. Loretta loved her pets, whether it was her cats or her raccoons that she made friends with, she loved them. Her family was always the most important to her and she cherished the time she spent with them. Loretta will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jodi Paul Hickman, parents James and Arline Jerdee and a brother Jerry Dale Jerdee.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children; David James Carpenter and his wife Melissa of Layton, UT, Edward Lee Quebodeaux, Jr. and his wife Heather of Frisco, TX, Amber Piper and her husband John of Deweyville, TX and Jeanine Quebodeaux Potter of Sulphur, LA. Brothers, Gary Dean Jerdee and Miriam of Houston, TX and Tommy Lynn Jerdee of Bridge City, TX, sisters Judiann Nolan and her husband Tom of Rosepine, LA and Donna Sue Jerdee of Biloxi, MS, grandchildren; Bailey Carpenter, Mya Carpenter, Kyle Holden, Liana Piper, Hilton Piper, Bryce Potter and Nicholas Potter and great granddaughter Gracelynn Renea Potter. As well as special nephew George and wife Deborah  and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
