Madeline Peveto Klekar, age 74, of Orange, Texas, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2017, in Beaumont, Texas. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements were made under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home.

Madeline was born in Port Arthur, Texas, on March 4, 1943, to Emily Lorine Reviea Peveto and Asa Peveto. Madeline worked at Orange Bank and County National Bank for a number of years then went on to Lamar Bank, before retiring.  Madeline enjoyed spending time in her yard gardening and was an accomplished cook. She was known to all her family as "Nannie” and will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her father Asa Peveto. Stepfather and mother, Jack and Emily Lorine Moak; husband, Victor D. Klekar; one brother, Charles Peveto; and a sister, Loretta Thomas.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two children, Teddy Wissing and his wife, Dawn, of Orange, TX and Terri Morgan and Forrest Erb, of Orange, TX. Brother, Daryl Peveto and his wife, Norma of Bridge City, TX. Four grandchildren, Britt Wissing, Lacie Morgan, Brendon Wissing, and Brock Wissing. The family would like to extend a special thank you to The Medical Center of Southeast Texas, Memorial Herman Houston Southwest Neuro ICU, The Orange Villa and Harbor Hospice Beaumont.
