It is with great sadness that the family of Malcolm Patrick Marshall, known to many as “MP” or “Pat”, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas at the age of 88. Malcolm was born on March 17, 1931 in Orange, Texas and had been a life time resident. Malcolm proudly served in the United States Army and worked at Livingston shipyard as a Rigger and Welder.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Wanda Lidwyn Marshall, his parents Lawrence and Gracie Marshall, his son Randal Patrick Marshall, brothers James, Michael and Lawrence and only grandchild Jaci Leigh Russo Wagner.
Survivors include his daughters Niccki Marshall and Jaye Russo, a sister Rose Russell and three great grandchildren; Kyleigh, Emma and Mason.
In the final days of his life, we'd like to thank CJ Huckaby and Dean and Anita Dyson for all their love and support.
Services to honor Malcolm’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Dorman Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Melvin Payne officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Orange. Family and friends will gather for a visitation from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Dorman Funeral Home with a 4:30 PM rosary prayer service.
Pallbearers honoring Malcolm will be Russell Marshall, Josh Dyson, Jason Dyson, Madison Dyson, Terry Huckaby and Brent Huckaby. Honoary pallbearers will be CJ Huckaby and Shirley Goss.
