Martin Eugene Zerko, age 75, of Orange, Texas, passed away at his home on Sunday, November 12, 2017. Services will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 16, 2017, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Orange Ward, 6108 Hazelwood Dr. Orange, Texas, 77632, with Elder John Zerko officiating. Interment will follow at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park. Family and friends will gather for visitation from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at Dorman Funeral Home.

Martin was one of six children and  born in Coalgate, Oklahoma on December 21, 1941 to Dovie E. Prince Zerko and Peter Paul Zerko. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Martin was a retired pipefitter with Local Union 195.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Dovie Zerko and his wife Linda Zerko. Three brothers; James "Zeke" Zerko, Pete Zerko and Franklin D. Zerko. One nephew Gene Shafer.

Survivors include his brothers, Ira Zerko and his wife Maryann of Orange, TX and John "JD" Zerko and his wife Beverley of Orange, TX. Sister-in-law Nancy Zerko and father-in-law Willie Harrison. Nieces and nephews; Sharon Zerko, Margaret George, Cindy Zerko, Walter Shafer, Del Zerko, Sarah McClendon, Mark Zerko, Wendy Buhler, Tara Torres, Kippi Fanning, Mandi Zerko, Leigh Anne Zerko and James Shafer. Step children; Lisa Fuselier and Gina Harrison. As well as a host of cousins and many friends.

Pallbearers will be Del Zerko, Mark Zerko, Nathaniel Zerko, Adam Zerko, Charles Ozan and Chris George.
