Mary L. Lawrence

Mary L. Lawrence, age 75 of Orange, Texas, passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at her home. A graveside service to honor Mary's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park in Orange, Texas with Rev. Keith Meyers officiating. Services are under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home.

Mary was born in Nederland, Texas on June 21, 1942 to William and Margaret Capps. Mary was a homemaker, that was dedicated to taking care of her family that she loved so much. She loved the LORD with all of heart and looked forward to the day that she would be reunited with her husband in Heaven She enjoyed tending to her flowers, feeding the animals, and swinging on the porch. Mary had a passion for her large collection of clocks. Mary enjoyed music especially playing the piano and accordion. She also love visiting and spending time with her new neighbors Mr. & Mrs. Rasberry

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Lawrence, Sr. and a brother William "Billy" Capps.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son James Lawrence, Jr. and his wife Candace of Orange, TX. Three daughters; Inez Lawrence of Orange, TX, Sally Lawrence of Memphis, TN and Rose Dubois and her husband Kenneth of Orange, TX. Seven grandchildren; Ian Lawrence, John Lawrence, Roy Dubois, Nicole O'Banion , Kathryn Dubois, Chelsea Lachance, and Joseph Kay. As well as numerous great grandchildren.
