Maureen was born on Monday, March 31, 1941, in Lowell, Massachusetts to parents, Viola (Soucy) and Robert Louis Ryan. She had been a lifetime resident of Mauriceville, Texas before moving to Corpus Christi, Texas in March of 2010, to be closer to her two sons.

Maureen was a very loving and good-hearted woman who loved her family dearly. She loved to talk, have fun and laugh. She also loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren who were the light of her life. Maureen enjoyed doing cross-stitching, puzzles, pencil coloring, hand embroidery and going to the beach. Talking to people and just spending time with others in general made her very happy.

Maureen began her working career at the Pitt Grill restaurant where she met her husband Jack Gordie Vincent.  Later she worked at Twin Acre Farms and Burton’s Grocery store.  In 1984, she opened a snow cone stand that later expanded into the Mauriceville Donut Shop where she made many lifelong friends and everyone knew her. After about 20 years, the business was sold and Maureen retired.

Maureen was a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend who will forever be loved and missed by all who knew her.

Maureen is preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Jack Vincent; parents, Viola and Robert Ryan; brothers, William Ryan and Kevin Ryan; sisters, Nancy Lindsey, Kathleen Crowley and Jean Mays.
