Michael David Gallien, age 58 of Orange, Texas passed away peacefully at home on June 6, 2017, surround by his family.  Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Dorman Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Rob Harris officiating.  Interment will follow at Lee Cemetery in Starks, Louisiana.  Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, June 9,2017 at Dorman Funeral Home.

Mike was born in Orange, Texas on May 30, 1958 to John and Faye Gallien. He was a 1977 West Orange Chief graduate.  He had a passion for music and loved playing guitar.  He also enjoyed riding his Harley.  But more than anything, Mike loved sharing his life with his family and cherished friends.  Mike’s larger than life personality, and one of a kind sense of humor will be greatly missed.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents, John and Faye Gallien. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Michelle Gallien.  Three daughters; Sandra Marie Shelton of Houston, TX, Amy Snipes of Vidor, TX and Winter Gallien of Starks, LA.  Four brothers; John Gallien and wife Sharon of Dale, TX, Robert Gallien and wife Lorrie of Orange, TX, Keith Gallien and wife Camille of Orangefield, TX and one sister, Telissa Gallien Ham of Austin, TX. He also had 3 grandchildren that were the apple of his eye; Sophie Snipes, Landon Champman and Olivia Edwards.

Pallbearers will be Jason Gallien, Josh Gallien, Leon Gallien, Johnny Lopez, Justin Edwards, Larry Snipes and Dave Patton.
