Monta Rae Baugh, age 54, of Orange, Texas, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, with Brother John Fortenberry giving the message at 6:00 PM at Dorman Funeral Home in Orange, Texas.

Monta was born on Wednesday, August 28, 1963, in Wheatland, Wyoming to parents, Ava Rae Grace and Tim Allen Bach. She had been a lifetime resident of Orange, Texas after moving from Port Arthur, Texas 33 years ago. Monta was a very loving, good hearted, outspoken woman who loved her family dearly. She was a real tough lady who was known to be stubborn and very protective. Right or wrong, Monta always had your back if you needed her to and especially when it came to her family. She loved to talk, spend time at the lake and just be outside enjoying nature and all of the beauty. She was also a very talented artist who could do anything arts and crafts. Singing and dancing were something she enjoyed doing on a daily basis, even if it wasn't on her list of natural talents. Monta had a few dogs that she loved very much that were always loyal companions. Her family was her life and her grandchildren were a gift from God to her. Monta was a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will forever be loved and missed by all who knew her.

Monta is preceded in death by her father, Tim Allen Bach.

Monta is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Howard Baugh; mother, Ava Rae (Grace); children, Casey Ray Baugh and wife Cassie of Orange, Texas, Devin Scott Baugh of Bridge City, Texas, Amanda Renae Manning and husband Hunter of Deweyville, Texas; brother, Travis Bach and wife Maria of Groves, Texas and grandchildren, Kaden Baugh, Braelyn Baugh, Kallie Baugh, Emma Manning, Maelee Baugh and Wyatt Manning.
