Nolan Granville Tucker, 93, of West Orange, Texas passed away on Friday, May 17, 2019. He was born on Saturday, February 26, 1926 in Waxahachie, Texas to Perry and Edna Tucker. Nolan served his country honorably and faithfully in the U.S. Army and then would work as a plate and label maker for a paper bag manufacturer. He enjoyed traveling, especially to Colorado for summer vacations; he also traveled to Kilgore and Longview to visit family. Nolan was a longtime member of First United Pentecostal Church in Orange, Texas. He will be missed by those he knew and loved.
Nolan is survived by his son, Alex Tucker, of West Orange, TX; and a sister, Dorothy Brown, of Longview, TX.
Nolan is preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Tucker; his parents, Perry and Edna Tucker; brothers, Herbert Tucker, and Preston Tucker; and sisters, Jessie Bea Robins, and Leora Hulsey.
There will be a graveside service to honor the life of Nolan Granville Tucker on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at 2:00pm at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 4560 State Hwy 87, Orange, Texas 77630.
