Peggy Faires Sherwin went to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, Texas.

She was born in Port Arthur, Texas on Tuesday, November 26, 1942 to Florence Beaver Faires and Albert Faires. Peggy retired from LCMCISD after 18 years as a bus driver. Peggy and her husband Jimmie were members of First Baptist Church of Mauriceville.  She enjoyed quilting and growing beautiful flowers. She loved spending time with her family and her 2 grandsons.

She is preceded in death by, her parents Albert and Florence Faires and her brother Maurice Faires all of Orange, TX.

Peggy is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jimmie Sherwin, two sons, Mike Sherwin and his wife Barbara and Jon Sherwin and his wife Sheri and two grandsons, Matthew Sherwin and Nathan Sherwin all of Mauriceville, TX.

A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held Friday, April 7, 2017 at First Baptist Church Mauriceville. A gathering of friends and family from 5 PM to 6 PM, with the memorial service beginning at 6 PM officiated by Bro. Kevin Brown. Dorman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
