Priscilla Jane Richard, age 77, of Orange, Texas, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. A memorial service to honor her life will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 12:00 PM at the Salvation Army Chapel in Beaumont, Texas. The address to the chapel is, 2350 I-10 Frontage Rd. Beaumont, Texas. 77703

Priscilla was born on Monday, August 5, 1940, in Kaplan, Louisiana to parents, Hazel (Stelly) and Joseph Trahan. She had been a longtime resident of Orange, Texas after moving from Lafayette, Louisiana many years ago. Priscilla was a very loving, fun, energetic, woman who was full of life and loved her family dearly. She was a reader as well as a writer of letters and stories all her own. With great organization skills, she was often able to get many things done within a short amount of time. Bingo and being with friends were some of the things that always made her happy. She was involved in the American Legion and the VFW as well. Priscilla could always make other smile and keep people listening with her "gift of gab". She loved her family and friends. Priscilla was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will forever be loved and missed by all who knew her.

Priscilla is preceded in death by her parents, Hazel and Joseph Trahan and husband, Bruce Richard.

Priscilla is survived by her loving children, David Lenz and wife Mary of Orange, Texas, Sandra Taylor and husband Kenneth of Orange, Texas, Steven Lenz and wife Crystal of Mauriceville, Texas and Tammy Shelton of Bridge City, Texas; sisters, Sadie Laird of Orange, Texas and Mary Gagon of Austin, Texas; grandchildren, Courtney Watkins, Whitney Shelton (Monek), Tyler Shelton, Summer Cagle, Hunter Taylor, Haylee Taylor (Little), Destiny Kervin, Bryce Stone and Cory Lenz; great grandchildren, Parker Watkins, Paisley Lenz, Laylah Shelton, Londyn Watkins, Leighton, Preslie Cagle, Michael Monek, Bobby Dean Monek, Ayson Kervin, Dawson Kervin and Adlyn Kervin as well as nephews, Reggie, Tony and Clifford.
