Rest in peace Uncle Rick, you will be mist deeply by you family. You hold a special place in my heart along with some of my fondest memories of visiting with you when I was a boy.

My deepest condolences. I remember Uncle Rick from many trips and can't forget his smile and laugh. A truly bright light in east Texas. He will be missed.

I would recognize your voice anywhere and still hear it in my memory. You had the deepest chuckle and I have always loved you from the first time I remember meeting you in San Antonio. I didn't understand what a medic did or what war really meant, but you were a gentle giant that allowed me to crawl all over you and hug you. I am so glad that I could visit with you and Uncle Jimmy those two days last summer while my husband Jerry was fishing in a tournament there in Orange. I will miss hearing you call my mom, Iva. Nobody else could say it just the way you did. Love to Stephanie and her family who knew you and loved you too.

We hope to make the funeral baby but Mark has pneumonia, not bad yet...The doc ordered stronger antibiotics to nip it in the bud before it gets bad. I have larengitus.
😷. If we don’t make it that is why. I hope to see you Saturday.

I will alway remember Uncle Rick, he had the best attitude. When I was younger and my family would take the long trip from Mississippi to go to Texas so my Mom could visit with her brothers, We always stayed with Uncle Rick at his place. Those were fun trips for sure. He will be missed.
