Richard Lovelace Wall, age 80, of Orange, Texas, passed away on Monday, September 10, 2018. A Memorial Service to honor Richard's life will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 6:30PM, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Orange, Texas.
Richard was born on March 1, 1938, in Orange to parents, Iva (Patterson) and Lovelace Chaffe Wall. He was a lifetime resident of Orange. Dick was a caring, good hearted man with strong family bonds. His home in the Historic District was full of family memories. It had been his early family home which he proudly purchased from Ms. Stark in 2004. He was a 1956 graduate of Stark High School and stayed connected to his classmates for decades. He attended Lamar University prior to working at American Bridge.
Dick loved fishing from the pier in High Island, Texas. He was a dedicated photographer and had a vast music collection. Dick attended St. Paul Episcopal Church for over seventy years.
Dick is preceded in death by his parents, Iva and Lovelace Chaffe Wall; brothers, Frank Russell Wall and Charles Murphy Wall and sister Mary Em Wall. Dick is survived by his nephew, (Hank) Frank Russell Wall, Jr. of Raleigh, North Carolina and niece, Carol Leslie of Cary, North Carolina and loving cousins throughout the country.
