Ruby Ann Burleigh, age 67 of Orange, Texas, passed away in Beaumont, Texas on Saturday, June 10, 2017. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at the home of Letha & Woody Willett in Orange, Texas. Dorman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Ruby was born on November 27, 1949 in Orange, Texas to Rose Bellard Smith and Brody Smith. She had been a longtime resident of Montana, where she owned and operated a daycare with her husband. Ruby enjoyed going snow skiing and riding her snowmobile. She was loved and will be greatly missed by her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Margie Addison and two brothers, Vernon Smith and Jake Comier.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children; Letha Mann and husband David of Orange, TX, Felicia Fishman and her husband Brian of New Jersey, Debra Gilbert and her husband Tom of Montana. One son, Curtis Bean and his wife Cindy of Montana. Two brothers, Alton Smith of Orange, TX and James William Smith and his wife Barbara of Orange, TX. A sister, Letha Mae Willett and her husband Woody of Orange, TX. Eight grandchildren; Amanda Sedita and her husband Tony, Whitney Gilbert, Tanner Bean, Larissa Bean, Ashley LaRose, Cody LaRose, Zachary Fishman and Ki Fishman. Three great grandchildren; Dallas Sedita, Decker Sedita and Liberty Ann Sedita.
