Viva Lee (Anderson) Spurlock, 81, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017, in Orange, Texas.  Funeral arrangements will be held at 2:00 PM, on Sunday, December 31, 2017, at Dorman Funeral Home; Chaplin Michael Anderson of Heart to Heart Hospice officiating.  Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Jett Cemetery.  Visitation of family and friends will be held prior from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 31, 2017, at Dorman Funeral Home.

Viva Lee was born on Sunday, December 6, 1936, in Orange, Texas, to parents Mazie Helene Cole and Jessie Anderson.  She was a lifelong resident of Orange, Texas, where she enjoyed living on her houseboat, with her husband, Clyde Spurlock.  Viva Lee loved animals, especially the turtles that lived close to her houseboat, and enjoyed spending time fishing.  She is a woman who was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

Preceding Viva Lee in death are her parents; husband, Clyde Spurlock; sister, Thelma Jo Flanigan; and brothers, Bobby Gene Anderson, LJ Anderson, and Floyd Lee Anderson.

Those who will cherish her memory most is her brother, Daniel E. Anderson and his wife, Brenda, of Orange, Texas, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Honoring Viva Lee as Pallbearers are Danny Anderson, Jerry Anderson, Alan Flanigan, and Greg Stanley.
