Alma Jean (Reed) Martin

Alma Jean Martin, age 89 of Loveland, Colorado, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at her home.  Services to honor Alma’s life will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 22, 2022, at Dorman Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow at Jett Cemetery in Orange, Texas.  Family and friends will gather for a visitation from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Dorman Funeral Home.

Alma was born on February 15, 1933, in Orange, Texas to parents, Lena McCarver Reed and Mitchel Reed.

She had been a longtime resident of Orange, Texas. Alma was affectionally known as Mee-maw at Veteran’s Grocery Store. She met her husband, Arrel while he was visiting his sister in Orange, Texas.  Arrel and Alma were married October 3, 1950, in Mesa Arizona Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.   

Preceded in death by her husband Arrel Dwaine Martin, parents Mitchel and Lena Reed, three sisters Evelyn Gentry, Lena Craig, Thelma Powell, brother Mitchell Reed and granddaughter Katie Martin.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Arrel "Dwaine" Martin II, and his wife, Connie; Kendall Martin and his wife, Kim; and Gregory Martin; her daughter, Angela Cluff and her husband, Leon; grandchildren, Arrel “Trey” Martin III, Deven Hinch and her husband, Jamie; Brandon Pickett, Scott Cluff, Trisha Lowderback and her husband, Kris; Brandon Cluff and his wife, Melissa; Nichole Brown and her husband Skyler; Anthony “Colt” Martin, Cassidy Martin, Gracie Martin; Sable Thompson and her husband, Timothy; Chelsea Tramel and her husband, Patrick; and Becky Knoblock and her husband, Glenn and daughter Sara; and her great-grandchildren, Paisley, Everleigh, Alec, Laiden, Kanon, Brenna, Brody, Isaac, Zachary, Seth, Alyssa, Aidan, Analise, Maeyah, Cole, Rider, Jasper, Wyatt.
