Avie Drucilla Cain

Avie Drucilla Cain, age 68 of Vidor, Texas, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022 in Beaumont, Texas. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Faith Assembly of God in Vidor, Texas, with Reverend Thomas Hammond, Jr. officiating. Dorman Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care and services.

Avie was born in Orange, Texas on February 18, 1954 to parents, Marjorie Kelley Bean and Arnold  Robert Bean. She was a faithful member of Faith Assembly of God Church and a member of the Women of Tapestry. Avie enjoyed crocheting and sewing. She had a big heart, kind and gentle soul and always put her family first.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Marjorie Bean, brothers, Alton Bean, Arnold Bean, Walter Bean and Archie Bean and sisters, Renola Bean and Mary Lois Bean and granddaughter Rebecca Mink.

Those left to cherish her memory are Carrie Hodge of Dallas, TX, April Luman and husband Clint Owens of Bridge City, TX and Anita Cain and her husband Jeffrey Henderson of Victoria, TX, siblings; Egbert Bean of Hartburg, TX, Ellie Bean of Beaumont, TX, Janie Carl of Vidor, TX, Dova Bean of Vidor, TX, Linnie Stewart and her husband Frank of Orange, TX, Margaret Watkins and her husband Donny of Vidor, TX and Mildred Monger and her husband Wade of Vidor, TX, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and wonderful friends.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
