Baby Girl Raeleen Marie Simmons

Our Baby Girl, Raeleen Marie Simmons, earned her little angel wings on Thursday, April 8, 2021, in Beaumont, Texas. Her parents, Colleen and Scott, were anticipating her arrival on September 28, 2021, but Baby Raeleen came early and shared only 12 minutes of joy and sadness, all at the same time. She was a true miracle of life to be so tiny.

Our little angel was welcomed into heaven by her paternal grandfather, Richard Simmons, paternal great-grandmother, Rita Hucko, maternal great-grandparents, Ancel Walter and Patricia Ann Freeman, and maternal great-grandfather, Melvin Boyett.

She is survived by her parents, Colleen and Scott Simmons, her big sister, Jaycie Wilson, paternal grandmother, Janice Simmons, maternal grandparents, Jim and Frances Freeman, maternal great-grandmother, Ann Boyett, aunts and uncles, Michelle and Shane Delaney, Ricky Simmons,  Becky and Ronnie Platt, Rachel Freeman, Donna and Glenn Shute, David and Kim Smallwood, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The family will gather for a private memorial service at a later date. Dorman Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
