Barbara Ann Hill

Barbara Ann Hill, age 83, of Orange, Texas, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023, in Lumberton, Texas.  A celebration of life will be held from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, on Friday, September 22, 2023 at Dorman Funeral Home.

Barbara lived in Orange for 70 years.  She was a cook for Zacks in Orange before she worked for Market Basket, in the deli. She was strong in her Christian faith. When she wasn’t working, she loved taking pictures and going to concerts. Barbara loved dogs and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

 She is preceded in death by her mom, Mary Hill; dad, W.H. Hill; sisters, Ginger Hill and Dixie Gardner; brother, Jimmy Hill; brother-in-law, Harold Ray Gardner; nieces, Robin and Chanda; nephew, Devon; and step-mom, Irene Hill.

Barbara is survived by her brothers, Bill Hill, Paul Gardner, Brian Gardner, and Mark Gardner; nieces, Cindy Holton and husband, Jeff, Helen Polasek and husband, Donald, Lisa Walker, Susie Jimenez and husband, Joe, Marcy Klim and husband, Rich; nephews, Harold Ray Gardner, Jr. and wife, Stacy, (children, Dylan Gardner and Brendan Gallagher), James Hill and wife, Jennifer (daughter, Katelyn), Bubba Hill and wife, Lindsey (son-Peyton); and a host of extended family, and friends. Barbara Ann Hill will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
