Barbara Hudson

Barbara Hudson, age 75 of Call, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 in Jasper, Texas.  A memorial service to celebrate Barbara’s life will be held by her family at a later date. Dorman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Barbara was born in Tyler, Texas on May 18, 1945 to Edith Taylor Foster and Odes Foster. She was a member of Trout Creek Baptist Church. Barbara enjoyed summers lounging in her pool and spending time with her family. She loved being able to work with flowers as a florist and in the garden. Barbara always had friends around to share trips to the spa and laughter with.

Barbara is preceded in the death by her parents, daughter Felecia Johnson and brother Taylor Foster.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Dean Hudson of Call, TX, sons; Gary Nelms and his wife Cindy of Brookeland, TX, Rocky Hudson and his wife Brena  of Bridge City, TX, Cody Nelms and his wife Cassie of Devils Pocket, TX, Ricky Britnell of Bridge City, TX, Randy Britnell and his wife Lynn of Mauriceville, TX, Kenny Britnell of Bridge City, TX and Barry Britnell of Bridge City, TX, brother Odie Foster and his wife Karen Arp, TX, three sisters; Becky Barton and her husband Charlie of Arp, TX, Betsy Sue LeBlanc and her husband Donald of Trout Creek, TX and Beverly Nelson and her husband Dennis of Cheyenne, WY, six grandchildren; Colby Nelms (Risa), Autumn Hudson, Cole Nelms (Aimee), Callie Weldon (Donovan), Ashely Garrett (Robby) and Nicholas Johnson (Leisha), great grandchildren; Mason Nelms, Mallory Nelms, Jaysen Weldon, Hannah Garrett, Colton Garrett, Taylor Johnson, Jase Johnson, Acen Hudson arriving in September and Cree Nelms arriving in October. As well as numerous nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
