Betty Marie (Morgan) Chadwell

Betty Marie Chadwell, age 87 of Orange, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 in Houston, Texas. Services to honor Betty will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Dorman Funeral Home. Family and friends will gather for a visitation from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Dorman Funeral Home.

Betty was born in Garnett, Kansas on February 22, 1934 to parents Eva Boardman and Art Morgan. She retired after many years from Racetrac Petroleum as a manager. Betty was a kind and gentle soul, who loved her family very much. Her absolute favorite thing in the world was “family time”. Betty also loved spending time with her little four legged companion, Archie. She also had a large collection of Beanie Babies and enjoyed being outdoors. Betty will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

She is preceded in death by her son Allen Barber, daughters, Vickie Risinger and Sherry Chadwell, parents Art Morgan, Eva Boardman and step-mother Evangeline Morgan and brothers, Larry Morgan and Scott Boardman.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Diana Daigle, siblings; Marilyn Katzer, Terry Morgan and his wife Kathy and Tim Morgan and his wife Mary Ann, seven grandchildren; Kristen Daigle and her husband Josh Seymore, Jason Ware,  Anthony Daria and his wife Danae, Lee Chadwell, Russell Gray, Dylan Chadwell and Monterey Valladares an his wife Katelynn, great grandchildren; Joshua Daria, Terriana Daria, Matthew Daria, Zoe Pennino and Alexis Fruge and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
